I've been a longtime advocate for transparency and accountability in elections campaigns and I'm running to promote grassroots democracy, environmental stewardship and improving the responsiveness of Town of Glenville government to its residents.
I'm especially concerned about developers
having a cozy quid pro quo financial
relationship with County officials. Public documents show how much money local developers contribute to campaigns for local politicians with the expectation that they will receive public contracts and concessions. This kind of corruption has to stop. The people of Glenville deserve better than this and that's what I intend to address if elected to the Town Board.

I​ was born in Schenectady in 1950 and spent most of my life in in the area. I have a BA and Master's degrees from the University at Albany in Psychology with a minor in Peace Studies and Public Affairs with an Environment concentration.
I have a chimney sweep business and have been a Green since we first organized in New York.
The Green Party, the party with 4 basic principles: Nonviolence, Grassroots Democracy, Social and Economic Justice, and Ecological Wisdom, represents how I was brought up and what I believe and work for. I believe violence begets violence; that all people should have a say and work together at the most local level possible; that greed and injustice are wrong, and that we should leave things better than we found them.
I have been active in all these areas all my adult life and will continue working for these principles. I see the Green Party as the electoral arm of the Green movement. Other parties seem vague as to what they stand for and seem to be owned or leased by big greedy corporate money.

MY ISSUES
I need volunteers to help with distributing campaign literature door-to-door in Glenville, making phone calls prior to the primary election to help with my WRITE-IN Campaign. Once I've been nominated in the primary election, I could use help with mailings and providing rides to the polls on election day. We can also use help with staffing a Green Campaig Information table at events​ like Farmer's Markets and concerts in Central Park.
